Long Beach, California – September 20, 2024 – The ID Investors Association successfully led a delegation of over 30 esteemed Cambodian business leaders to the US-Cambodia Business Matchmaking Summit 2024 organized by Cambodia Chamber of Commerce in California, USA and supported by សហគ្រិនខ្មែរ Khmer Enterprise.
The delegation, headed by Mr. Chap Sopheak, Secretary General of ID Investors Association and CEO of ID Capital Plc., was conducted in collaboration with the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce (CCC). Representing the CCC were Dr. Tan Monivann, Vice President, on behalf of Neak Okhna Kith Meng, and Mr. Kim Cha Huot, Head of the Office of the Representative of the CCC in California.
The mission was marked by productive engagements and the establishment of significant business connections. The summit provided a unique platform for Cambodian enterprises to explore new markets and forge strategic partnerships with American counterparts, particularly in sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, and technology.
Dr. Tan Monivann, Vice President of the CCC, emphasized the importance of this mission, stating, “This event marks a pivotal moment for Cambodian businesses to explore new markets and forge strategic partnerships. Our collaboration highlights our unified effort to promote Cambodian products and services on a global stage.”
Mr. Chap Sopheak, Secretary General of IDI and CEO of ID Capital, expressed his enthusiasm for the mission, saying, “We are honored to lead this delegation and represent Cambodia at such a prestigious event. Our goal is to showcase the potential of Cambodian businesses and attract investments that will contribute to our country’s economic development.
