IDI Business Center “IDB” Delivers Presentation of “Vida Polyclinic” Project
On January 9, 2024, IDI Business Center “IDB” of the Innovation and Development Investors Association “IDI” led by Mr. Chap Sopheak, Secretary General of “IDI” and CEO of ID Capital Plc “IDC” delivered to other Member “IDI” About VIDA Polyclinic, a business project initiated by one of IDI members and prepared to support the development of a business plan by the IDI Investment and Business Analysis Team. The association always strives to innovate to support the member’s business.

Phnom Penh, January 25, 2024 -the 15th , Dr Hor Serey Vath, Chairman of IDI and Member of Board of Trustees of Khmer Enterprise convened under the chairmanship of H.E. Hem Vanndy, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology, and Innovation held at the Business Development Center charted a course for the organization for 2024.
During the meeting, the Board of Trustees reviewed and evaluated the progress and significant achievements of 2023. The meeting approved the work plan for 2024. This plan will bolster projects that foster entrepreneurial innovation, particularly in sectors such as textiles, garments, the informal economy, and sustainable business.
Khmer Enterprise will continue to support entrepreneurs who have gained recognition and achieved success in past programs.

On January 29, 2024, Innovation and Development Investors Association “IDI” led by Dr. Hor Sereyvath, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “IDI” and ID Capital Plc. “IDC” has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cambodia My 2nd Home (CM2H).
Through this Memorandum of Understanding, the two institutions aim to collaborate closely to achieve the common goals:
(a) Both entities shall exchange business referral where IDI will refer to CM2H potential foreign investors looking to apply for its membership program and CM2H will refer to IDI potential investors looking for potential investment project.
(b) CM2H shall appoint IDI and IDC as advisor to address investment and business inquiries from its members and potential investors.
(c) IDI and CM2H will collectively engage in various business events for the purpose of promoting each other’s services as well as investment and business climate in Cambodia.

៣. ការគោរពស្នើសុំផ្តល់អនុសាសន៍ណែនាំបន្ថែមពីសំណាក់ លោកជំទាវរដ្ឋមន្ត្រី។
៤. ការគោរពស្នើសុំការគាំទ្រពីក្រសួងពាណិជ្ជកម្មលើ៖
– ការរៀបចំព្រឹត្តិការណ៍ធុរកិច្ច និងពាណិជ្ជកម្មក្នុងស្រុក និងក្រៅស្រុកពាក់ព័ន្ធនឹងការនាំចេញផលិតផលកសិកម្ម និងចំណីអាហារ ដូចជាសិក្ខាសាលា ការតាំងពិព័រណ៍ និងទស្សនកិច្ចពាណិជ្ជកម្ម។

A warm welcome from the Minister of Commerce, Her Excellency Cham Nimul, to the Innovation and Development Investors Association” IDI ” to pay a courtesy call and discussion on trade and export promotion activities of Cambodian products.
On February 05, 2024, at the Ministry of Commerce, Her Excellency Cham Nimul and her leadership team allowed IDI to pay a courtesy call, which led by Dr. Hor Sereyvath, Chairman of IDI and ID Capital Plc. “IDC” and attended by IDI members and executive management team.
During the meeting, the Minister welcomed the IDI delegation and supported the export and trade promotion activities to the United States which IDI has done in the past, and appreciated what IDI has achieved so far to date for in just two years time. In addition, she confirmed that IDI has a mechanism aligned with a new strategic plan that the ministry has just established, the “Business Advisory Council”, a key mechanism welcoming private sector to get involve with and engage as a key operator. At the same time, there are 4 key topics were discussed which includes:
1. Key activities of the association related to trade and export promotion, facilitation, and assistance to boost Cambodian agricultural and food products were done in the past and the future plan.
2. The next direction plan of the IDI in promoting and building a strong investment ecosystem.
3. Respectfully request for additional guidance and recommendations from the Minister.
4. Respectfully request for support and collaboration from the Ministry of Commerce on:
– Organize local and overseas business and trade events related to the export and trade of agricultural and food products, such as workshops, exhibitions and trade missions.
– The export of agricultural products and food products of SMEs who receiving hands-on support service and technical assistance from the association.

The Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between IDI, IDC and AMK
On Monday, February 12, 2024, the Innovation and Development Investors Association “IDI” and ID Capital Plc. “IDC” led by Dr. Hor Sereyvath, Chairman of the Board of Directors, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with AMK Microfinance Institution PLC “AMK”, led by Mr. Kea Borann, CEO.
Through this Memorandum of Understanding, the two institutions aim to collaborate closely to achieve the common goals:
1. Engage with AMK for potential investment opportunities via debt financing.
2. Engage with AMK for value chain financing/supply chain financing to IDI’s members or others referred by IDI.
3. AMK will act as the financial institution partner to provide financial solutions for potential and selective investment opportunities.
4. Jointly conduct marketing activities including but not limited to trade shows, workshops, business forums, seminars, etc. to promote services of the parties to the pertinent stakeholders.
